Shed-Control Bath
The de-shedding treatment is very effective for those dogs who shed. It also helps to remove excess undercoats. It starts with a deshed shampoo and conditioner. We then force air dry the coat to blow out the coat and tools and brushing to finish the process. Your dog will also receive a spritz of cologne & a bandanna or bow.

Hand stripping
Hand stripping is the removal of the topcoat using the correct technique and tools to not damage the new coat growing in. This is for wire haired breed such as Westies, Airedales, Schnauzers, Wirefox terriers and other breeds such as Cocker Spaniels and Setters.
There are two options in hand stripping. If the dog is groomed frequently (every 2 – 8 weeks) then the coat is ‘rolled’ and will keep a more natural and dense appearance as the amount of hair that is needing to be removed is equal to the new hair growing in.
If the grooms are left longer than 8 weeks the coat becomes ‘blown’ and will require more time to strip the extra accumulated topcoat. After the groom the coat will appear a lot shorter as there won’t be as much new coat growing in. There will be an additional fee for blown coats as they take extra time to complete, this will be discussed with you upon check in.

When your Dog goes too Long without Brushing or Regular Grooming, they can Become Very Matted. In this case, when it Attaches to the Skin & is Too Dangerous, Shaving Down is the Only Option. *When Dematting is Not an Option Shave Down #9/#10/15
Matting
In the event of matting, we will try to save as much hair as possible. If there is excessive matting, we will need to carefully shave under the mats. The process can be painful for your pet, and may result in skin irritation, nicks, cuts, and bruises due to the matted hair pulling on the skin. Heavy matting may also conceal pre-existing conditions, such as fungal or bacterial infections. We will do our best to minimize discomfort to your pet, but we are not responsible for any injuries or medical issues due to this process.

The Sensitive Behavior
We love & work with all different Breeds of Dogs, but not every dog’s behavior is the same. To work on this type of Behavior it takes Time, Patience, Trust, & Repetition. Sensitive Behavior Signs would be Growling, Excessive Barking, Extreme Anxiety, Snarling, Lunging, Snapping, and/or Biting. This would Include: Fear Aggression, Territorial Aggression, Protective Aggression, Social Aggression, & Defensive Aggression. Dogs that have also been Previously Traumatized by Grooming Experiences would FEE $15+ & up
*In this Case, we Recommend a Regular Grooming Schedule for Dogs with these Behaviors. For our Safety, a Muzzle may be Needed. At this Time, we Only are Accepting Small to Medium sized Dogs with these Behaviors. A 15 minute assessment will be done to see if your dog can be groomed. You will need to wait.
The Senior Retreat
We love our Seniors! However, they can be more Difficult to Groom as they Age. With Arthritic, Vision, Hearing, & Medical Changes it can be a lot for them to handle. Thus, Requiring more Time, Patience, & Special Handling to ensure they are Safely Groomed & Properly Comfortable throughout their Spa Experience.

We understand there may be emergency situations and will work with you. Please be respectful of our time as we are a by-appointment business. Note: Clients 15 minutes late risk losing their appointment without prior notice. We groom cats!
- No Show Appointment will be charged $25 of the service scheduled deposit.
- Less than 24 Hour cancellation of appointment 50% of the service scheduled.
- Late Fee $25 will be added to the pet parents bill for Late Pick after 1 hr after being called, and Late drop off after 20mins.
